Some foreign students need to possess a Schengen visa to be able to visit the AMSC.
To determine if you are in this category, please take a look here.
All the general information about a Schengen visa can be found here. Please bear in mind that the embassy in your country may ask for specific extra documents and/or information, so make sure to take a look at the site and the requirements of the (Belgian) embassy in your country.
If you plan on only visiting Belgium during your visit you have to go to the Belgian embassy in your country. If you want to visit multiple countries, please apply for your visa at the embassy from the country that is the main destination (in terms of length of the stay).
If you need to apply for a visa, we will send you an official invitation letter. This document should aid in your visa application process. During the registration process you will be asked if you need a visa. If this is the case, please tick the box and we will make sure to to send your invitation letter within 72 hours. If you have not received your invitation letter by then, make sure to contact email@example.com.

This year, our congress has a partnership with the AliasYouth Hostel. This lovely and newly renovated hostel is only a 1,5km walk away from the meir, Antwerp’s main shopping street. In the morning, you can enjoy free fruit, coffee, cake and juice. It is also within walking distance from a bus station that will take you to the congress' location!
You can book your stay here through us (see registration page). We offer a bed in a 4, 6 or 8 bed dorm, all with a private bathroom. One night costs €22 . If you have a preference for a specific room or wish to stay with a specific person, please contact firstname.lastname@example.org with your request.
For those among you who like a bit of luxury, we can recommend Hotel Drie Eiken. It’s located right next to the university campus where our congress will take place.
